The Green Globe Standard
The Green Globe Company Standard consists of six key steps that establish the foundation for the journey to sustainable practices. The first Green Globe Standards were initially developed to apply to the travel and tourism industry, but new Standards can be developed to apply to businesses, organizations and communities in a range of industries and markets.
Green Globe Standards are performance-oriented, providing participants with a framework to measure, monitor and improve environmental and social sustainability.

Due to the proprietary nature of the Green Globe benchmarking and certification program and the proliferation of a growing number of "greening" programs over the past several years, which often seek to pass the work of others off as their own, Green Globe only provides summaries of its Standards on its website.
